Massive Samsung Leak: Everything You Need to Know About the Galaxy S24 FE
We’ve got a big one today—a massive leak straight from Samsung reveals just about everything you need to know about the Galaxy S24 FE months before its official launch. From specs to design, colors, features, and more. Let’s get right into it.
Design and Colors
First up, let’s talk design and colors. The S24 FE is looking familiar—it’s got that classic Galaxy S24 vibe with flat front and rear glass panels, flat aluminum sides, and rounded corners. But, if you look closely, you’ll notice slightly thicker bezels, especially around the chin. It’s not a huge difference, but it’s there.
As for the colors, Samsung is offering the S24 FE in five options: blue, graphite, mint, silver, and yellow.
Display
Moving on to the display—the phone has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits. It’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ and has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
Camera
When it comes to the cameras, on the front, you’ve got a 10MP selfie camera—pretty standard stuff. On the back, there’s a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Performance
Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 FE features the latest Exynos 2400 processor in most markets. But, if you’re in the US, you might get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chip instead. Samsung’s playing the regional game again, but either way, you can expect top-notch performance. Interestingly, for the past couple of years, Samsung has been equipping a year-old chip on their FE phones, but it’s good to see that won’t be the case with the S24 FE.
RAM and Storage
As for RAM and storage, while it’s not officially confirmed, we’re likely looking at 12GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Battery Life
Battery life is always a big deal, and the S24 FE comes with a 4,565mAh battery sitting right between the S24 and S24+ in terms of capacity. Samsung claims you can get up to 78 hours of audio playback and 29 hours of video playback on a single charge.
Software and AI Features
The phone will ship with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 right out of the box. Here’s something interesting: the S24 FE will get those AI features that debuted with the Z Fold 6, such as the portrait studio and the sketch to image, which is pretty cool. Of course, it also includes other AI features like Generative Edit, Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate, to name a few.
Price
We don’t know the price of this phone yet, but considering Samsung raised prices with the Galaxy S24 lineup this year, it’s likely the S24 FE will come in at around $649 in the US.
How It Stacks Up
With all these features in mind, you might be wondering how the S24 FE stacks up against the S24 and S24+. The main differences lie in the screen size, battery capacity, bezel thickness, display brightness, Gorilla Glass protection, and the IP rating. And, of course, the S24 FE is expected to undercut both the S24 and S24+ significantly in price, making it a more budget-friendly option.
